Paint Bucket for Canva

Paint Bucket for Canva

A Photoshop-style paint bucket for your photos, right inside the Canva editor.

Select a photo in your design, click an area, and the connected region of similar colour is filled with a colour you choose. Adjust the tolerance to control how much of a similar colour is filled, switch between filling the connected region or the whole image, and undo or reset at any time. It's the flood-fill tool Canva doesn't include for photos.

How it works

  1. Select a photo (raster image) in your design.
  2. Open Paint Bucket from the side panel and choose Start painting.
  3. Pick a colour, set the tolerance, and click a spot on the image to fill it.
  4. Save the result back to your design.

Works on raster images (photos). For vector graphics, Canva's built-in recolour is the equivalent tool.

Your images stay yours. Paint Bucket runs entirely inside the Canva editor and collects no personal data. See the privacy policy for details.
